Trailer: Nancy la ahijadita

Nancy is a 14-year-old girl who moves from the countryside to Lima to live and work in her godmother’s home, with the expectation that she will be able to attend school. Months after classes have begun, her godmother enrolls her in the evening shift; meanwhile, Nancy is tasked with washing, cooking, running errands, and cleaning—and, little by little, she stops attending school.
